- TCGplayer prices the North American market in dollars; Cardmarket prices the European market in euros. The same card can be worth noticeably more on one side of the Atlantic than the other, depending on how scarce it is in each region. We publish the European value, because that is where you actually buy and sell.
- Is a French card worth as much as the English one?
- Rarely. French print runs were smaller on older sets, which lifts certain cards, while English dominates the modern market. The Cardmarket guide gives one value per card across all languages: use it as a baseline, then check listings in your own language before trading.
- What makes a card valuable?
- Condition first, then rarity, then the set and the language. A PSA 10 copy can be worth several times an ungraded one. The amounts in this ranking refer to ungraded copies in good condition.
