The One Piece Card Game is about to reach a major historic milestone with the release of its eighteenth main booster expansion, titled -THE DOMINANCE OF GOD- [OP-18]. Marking a definitive shift to a global simultaneous release model, this set is officially scheduled to launch worldwide on November 20, 2026. By eliminating the traditional three-month delay between the Japanese and Western releases, Bandai is leveling the playing field for players and collectors across the globe.

To help you prepare your pre-orders and booster box openings, here are the official physical and logistical specifications for the English edition of OP-18:

• Set Code: OP-18-BB

The set consists of exactly 126+1 card types. Bandai has officially confirmed the following rarity distribution:

Note: Alternate arts and parallel variations (such as the Super Parallel/Manga Rare) are not counted as separate base card types but are added on top of the base count.

The Two Game-Changing Dual-Color Leaders Revealed

The major competitive innovation in OP-18 lies in the introduction of two new dual-color Leaders with unique mechanics designed to reconstruct the meta:

1. Franky [OP18-021] — Green/Purple Leader

Eighteen sets into the game's lifespan, the Straw Hat Pirates' legendary shipwright finally gets his very first Leader card!

• Type: Green/Purple
• Power: 5000 / Life: 4
• Traits: W7, Franky Family, Straw Hat Crew.
• Passive Effect: All Stage cards in your hand gain a +3000 Counter value. This solves the historical deckbuilding risk of Stages becoming defensive dead weight in hand.
• Active Effect (Once Per Turn): DON!! -1: Play up to one Stage card with a cost of 5 or less directly from your hand.
• Parallel Treatment: His alternate art features a colorful Pop-Art style background showcasing Kiwi and Mozu.

2. Saint Gunko [OP18-060] — Purple/Black Leader

The brand-new Celestial Dragons and Knights of God archetype makes its debut, anchoring a powerful deck built around trash recursion.

• Type: Purple/Black
• Power: 5000 / Life: 4
• Traits: Celestial Dragons, Knights of God.
• Once Per Turn Effect: When a character is played from your trash, draw 2 cards and discard 1 card from your hand.
• Active Effect (Once Per Turn): Discard one card from your hand: If you control a character with an original power of 8000 or more, add up to 1 active DON!! card from your DON!! deck.
• Parallel Treatment: The alternate leader art utilizes a glittery finish that subtly reveals the silhouette of Imu in the background.

Spotlight on Key Cards

Several powerful Characters and Stage cards have been officially revealed, offering incredible synergies with the new Leaders:

Nico Robin [OP18-031] — Super Rare (SR) / Manga Rare

• Type: Green Character
• Cost: 4 / Power: 5000 / Counter: 1000
• Traits: W7, Straw Hat Pirates.
• Defensive Effect (During your opponent's turn): If one of your other characters would leave the field due to an opponent's effect, you can rest Nico Robin instead to protect them.
• End of Turn Effect: Activate up to one of your cards with the trait "W7" and up to one of your DON!! cards.
• The Manga Rare (Super Parallel): This card serves as OP-18's highly sought-after Manga Rare, featuring iconic panels from her Enies Lobby arc climax where she screams "I want to live!".

Mini-Merry [OP18-078] — Purple Uncommon (UC) Stage

• Cost: 5
• Traits: Straw Hat Crew, W7.
• On Play Effect: Draw 1 card and add 1 rested DON!! card from your DON!! deck.
• Main Phase Effect (Once Per Turn): Rest this Stage card to distribute your rested DON!! to up to four of your Leaders or Characters (maximum of 1 DON!! per card).
• Turn-One Combo: Going first with the Franky Leader, you can use his leader ability (DON!! -1) on turn one to play Mini-Merry from your hand. Mini-Merry’s On Play effect immediately draws you a card and adds a rested DON!!, entirely offsetting the cost of Franky's ability.

Saint Gunko (Military Palace) [OP18-065] — Super Rare (SR)

• Type: Purple Character
• Cost: 10 / Power: 11000 / Counter: 1000
• Traits: Celestial Dragons, Knights of God.
• Key Keywords: Blocker.
• On Play Effect: DON!! -1: Play up to one "Celestial Dragon" character card with a power of 6000 or less from your trash.
• The "?" Attribute: This card introduces a first-of-its-kind gameplay trait, carrying a mysterious "?" (question mark) attribute instead of traditional attributes.

The Artistic Headliner: Yoshitaka Amano Collaboration

To celebrate the game's fourth anniversary, Bandai has collaborated with Yoshitaka Amano, the legendary artist behind the visuals of the Final Fantasy series. He has illustrated two stunning Secret Rare (SEC) cards featuring his signature watercolour, borderless art style:

1. Saint Shamrock [OP18-119 SEC] — Secret Rare

• Type: Black Character
• Cost: 8 / Power: 9000 / Counter: 1000
• Attribute: Slash / Traits: Celestial Dragons, Knights of God.
• On KO Effect: Discard one card from your hand to replay Saint Shamrock directly from the trash to the field.
• Main Phase Effect (Once Per Turn): If he entered the field this turn, you can play up to one "Knights of God" character with a cost of 6 or less from your trash.

2. Loki [OP17-119 SEC] — Secret Rare Parallel Anniversary Card

Functionally identical to the original Loki Secret Rare from the Japanese OP-17 set (originally illustrated by Akanegumo), this version is printed in OP-18 boosters with Amano's exclusive artwork of the prince of Elbaph.

• Type: Black Character
• Cost: 6 / Power: 8000 / Attribute: Strike
• Traits: Giant, Elbaph.
• Gameplay Text: His cost increases by 12 on the field, and he gains +3000 power during your opponent's turn. On Play, he immediately K.O.s opponent characters up to a total cost of 4.

Future Meta Integration & Synergy

OP-18 was strategically engineered to connect with releases across late 2026:

• Its green and yellow mechanics directly support the EB-05 (Heroines Edition Vol. 2) Nico Robin Green/Yellow Leader dropping in October 2026, which relies on Wisdom-attribute character synergies.
• Additionally, the set is fully compatible with Starter Decks ST-37 and ST-38 scheduled for December 2026, allowing newer players to easily combine cards to compete at the highest level.

Preliminary meta forecasts predict that tempo-control strategies relying on high-counter Stages and defensive trash-recursion will finally challenge the hyper-aggressive decks of previous formats.
